Billing & Plans

BinRouter offers three subscription tiers with transparent, per-driver pricing. This guide covers plan details, the free trial, and how to manage your subscription.

1. Free Trial

All new accounts start with a 3-day free trial with full access to BinRouter. No credit card required to start — just sign up, create your organization, and start optimizing routes. You'll have access to all features (route optimization, AI import, analytics, emergency re-routing) during the trial.

The trial starts when you create your organization and ends 3 days later. You'll receive an email reminder 1 day before the trial ends. If you don't add a payment method before the trial ends, your account will be downgraded to read-only mode (you can view past routes and data, but can't create new routes or jobs).

To continue using BinRouter after the trial, add a credit card on the Billing page and select a plan. Your first charge will be prorated based on the days remaining in the current month.

2. Starter Plan ($199/mo + $99/driver)

The Starter plan is designed for single-yard operations getting started with route optimization. It includes up to 5 drivers and all core features: AI route optimization, CSV/Excel import, basic analytics, and email support.

What's included:

  • AI route optimization with Google OR-Tools VRP solver
  • CSV and Excel import with manual column mapping
  • 1 facility (yard) and unlimited landfills
  • Basic analytics: route cost, miles saved, fuel savings
  • Mobile route links for drivers (SMS or email)
  • Email support (48-hour response time)

Pricing: $199/month base fee + $99/driver/month. For example, 3 drivers = $199 + (3 × $99) = $496/month.

Best for: Small fleets (1-5 trucks) running one yard with straightforward routing needs.

3. Growth Plan ($399/mo + $79/driver)

The Growth plan is for growing fleets that need advanced optimization and emergency re-routing. It includes up to 20 drivers and adds several premium features like AI-powered data import, multi-facility support, and priority support.

What's included (in addition to Starter):

  • Emergency re-routing (redistribute a driver's route in seconds)
  • AI data import (automatic column matching with Claude AI)
  • ROI dashboard (compare optimized vs manual routes, track savings over time)
  • Multi-facility support (unlimited facilities and zones)
  • Priority support (24-hour response time)
  • Manual route history import for savings comparison

Pricing: $399/month base fee + $79/driver/month. For example, 10 drivers = $399 + (10 × $79) = $1,189/month.

Best for: Medium fleets (5-20 trucks) with multiple yards or complex routing needs (time windows, emergency re-routing).

4. Enterprise Plan ($799/mo + $59/driver)

The Enterprise plan is for multi-location operations and franchise groups that need tenant isolation, API access, and dedicated support. It includes unlimited drivers and adds enterprise-grade features like custom integrations and SLA guarantees.

What's included (in addition to Growth):

  • Unlimited drivers (no per-driver fee after 20 drivers)
  • Tenant isolation (separate organizations for each franchise location)
  • API access (REST API for custom integrations)
  • Custom integrations (integrate with your billing system, CRM, etc.)
  • Dedicated success manager (onboarding, training, ongoing support)
  • 99.9% uptime SLA guarantee
  • White-label mobile route pages (optional)

Pricing: $799/month base fee + $59/driver/month. For example, 30 drivers = $799 + (30 × $59) = $2,569/month.

Best for: Large fleets (20+ trucks), franchise operations, multi-location companies with custom integration needs.

5. Managing Your Subscription

BinRouter uses Stripe for billing and subscription management. You can manage your subscription, update payment methods, view invoices, and change plans from the Billing page in your BinRouter dashboard.

Changing Plans

To upgrade or downgrade your plan, go to the Billing page and click "Change Plan." Select a new plan, and your subscription will update immediately. If upgrading, you'll be charged the prorated difference for the current month. If downgrading, you'll receive a prorated credit applied to your next invoice.

Plan changes take effect immediately. If you upgrade to Growth for emergency re-routing, you can use it right away. If you downgrade to Starter, advanced features (multi-facility, AI import) will be disabled immediately.

Adding or Removing Drivers

Your monthly bill is calculated based on the number of active drivers in your account. If you add or remove drivers during the month, your bill will be adjusted automatically. For example, if you add a driver on the 15th of the month, you'll be charged for half a month (prorated).

To remove a driver from billing, set their status to "Inactive" on the Drivers page. Inactive drivers don't count toward your driver limit and aren't billed. You can reactivate them later if needed.

Viewing Invoices

All past invoices are available on the Billing page. Click "View Invoices" to see a list of all charges, payment dates, and invoice PDFs. You can download invoices for accounting or reimbursement purposes.

Invoices are emailed to the account owner at the beginning of each month. If you need invoices sent to a different email (e.g., your accounting department), update the billing email on the Billing page.

Canceling Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription anytime from the Billing page. Click "Cancel Subscription," confirm the cancellation, and your subscription will end at the end of the current billing period. You'll still have access to BinRouter until the end of the period, then your account will switch to read-only mode.

Canceled accounts retain all data (routes, jobs, analytics) for 90 days. If you reactivate within 90 days, all your data will be restored. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted (per our data retention policy).
